Welcome To Michigan Chess Association

Non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of chess in the state of Michigan. We are responsible for sponsoring and running all state championship chess tournaments for both scholastic players and adults. The Michigan Chess Association provides scholarships to scholastic players, as well as providing stipends for our scholastic players who are invited to represent Michigan in invitational tournaments.
